Signs I'm Getting Old(er?)
As a sports fan, one of the easiest ways to become aware of the passing of time is via non-injury retirements.
Today, I heard Drew Bledsoe is retiring, and it scared me because I clearly remember him being drafted by the Patriots in 1993, as he was now a third top tier QB in the AFC East to go with Jim Kelly in Buffalo and my boy Danny Marino in Miami.
Ugh. What a way to jump start a raining Thursday.......

Funny, I was thinking along the same lines watching the Canucks and Stars last night when they mentioned that Darryl Sydor was a "grizzled vetren" (or something to that effect) and I thought to myself my god I still remember when he was in Kamloops / playing in the World Juniors...
As an aside I think it's cool that the NHL website tracks players stats since they were in like junior B... Kind of ridiculous but also pretty cool..
