You are small and adorable!

Last night (yes, it was a busy night!) I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Joe (my friends Robin and Donnie's newborn).

Oh. My. God.

He is soooooooo little! And wow, is he ever cute! I honestly didn't know what the big deal was about babies until I actually got to see one up close. I could hardly take my eyes off of him...

Now, this is not to say that I have any real interest in having one of my own any time soon (as you can probably tell from earlier posts, I have enough issues keeping myself alive, much less be responsible for another person!)...but I guess I can see what all the fuss is about.

Also, they let me hold him. This is big. I had never held a baby before! Honestly? For a kid that wasn't supposed to have even been born for another two weeks....he's a strong little buggar! And surly, too. Any time you try to move his hands, arms or legs, he kind pulls them away. Ahh....the irritable Scottish blood showing already! {sigh}

It was a small victory when Donnie took him back and he was still in one piece.
