Vegas: Survived

Okay. To make it short, Jenna and I both got back alive.

We partied our collective faces off, got to meet up with her brother and his gf, as well as Amr, who was there on business.

I got to watch some football with Amr, though we missed the kickoff because it was so crowded at Caesar's and the ESPNZone in New York New York was closed for a "Private Party", and thus couldn't bet on the game. We missed a staggering amount of daylight, thus missing out on a significant amount of shopping. And yes, I'm straight and I like to shop. If you saw all the stores they have there, you would, too. It was too hastily planned, thereby not giving us enough time to book any shows.

I'm not saying we didn't have fun. It was great. The hotel was exceptional, too. But I know I can't get past the idea that it was a little one-dimensional, in terms of a trip.

That and the pounding hangover..... let me tell you. The 9am meeting today at Shell was glorious.

    As a Post Script:

I think part of the reason I was so unimpressed when I got back here was that I was kinda sick heading into the weekend, and basically ignored it. Cuz I'm sick again.

    Bah.
