Partners in Crime

So with Thursday practices starting, I couldn't help but think back to last summer, when Lynda and I used to close the place down. It worked out well, as while she had and hour's drive home, and mine is just a matter of minutes, she started work an hour later than I did on Friday mornings, so neither of us could really play the "but I have to go to work tomorrow" card any more than the other. So we didn't.

This year, however, being newly engaged, she tends to scoot out of the pub after only a drink or so... and really would could blame her? I am currently in the process of auditoning new partners in crime, and so far there is a front runner, but having a job that requires her to be there for 8am could put a cramp in the plan (although it didn't yesterday). We'll see how this plays out. The fact that I stay late at work on Thursdays tends to make my (slightly) late arrivals on Friday more understandable... which is always good.

Okay, fine... I guess I'm a barfly..... but that doesn't mean I *have* to just chill with the bartender.. does it?
