Why I Hate People

I'm choking on the words...

Peyton Manning... Super Bowl Champion.

Okay. I so I was pretty wrong in what I thought was going to happen last night. Really, I knew in my heart of hearts that the Colts were better, but I wasn't prepared to live in a world where Peyton Manning won a Super Bowl, much less one where he was the (while undeserved) MVP. He no more should have been MVP that I should have been. He just happened to not blow the game entirely... unlike his counterpart, the Sex Cannon, who likely overthrew and ill-advised passed his way into the unemployment line for next year. Oh well. Hopefully someone will pick him up and we can continue the jokes next year. :)

Thankfully, DC threw one helluva shin-dig last night, where thanks mainly to his Pad Thai, Resh's wings, Loren's muffins, Jason's dip and, of course, the obligatory mini-keg, I came hope quite stuffed. As I sit here this morning, I'm actually still kinda full. Good times.

Anyway, for those that can't stand football, you'll probably be glad to see the end of the NFL season. Me? I'm crying on the inside. Okay, not really, but since we don't have band practice next week, I'm almost at a loss with what I'm going to do to fill my weekend! Heaven forbid, but I might actually be productive.............

PS: Prince was boring as hell as a halftime show... I clearly am not familiar with any of his work.

PPS: Did anyone else notice the weird parallel with the BCS Championship game, where Ohio State ran back the opening kickoff for a TD but lost the game, too?

Actually, I didn't either until I was reading KSK this morning....

Did anyone else feel like the NFL game was rigged? So, did you see the under/over spread? Did you notice how instead of kicking the ball for a field goal, and making themselves up by 2 full touchdowns, they decided to try to run it 5 yards, and were stopped (which everybody knew was going to happen). This put the final score in such a place, that no matter what you bet on the over/under, you lost.

I hate the NFL now. It's dead to me.

Yes. This is another Black Sunday. Back in the day, then Super Bowl itself was a push. Imagine if they won by exactly 7, too??

    People would be dying everywhere...
